Short-term
Short-term visas.
It allows the stay in Spain for an uninterrupted period or a sum of successive periods whose duration does not exceed 90 days per semester, counted from the date of the first entry. It is a valid visa whose maximum duration of stay in Spain may never exceed 90 days.
These visas do not entitle the holder to work. They are requested, for example, for tourist visits, business visits, family visits, medical services, attendance to congresses or meetings.
In this case, if the foreigner does not exceed 90 days of stay in Spain, he/she will not need to obtain a specific authorization and may also stay in Spain when his/her trip is for study purposes, student mobility, non-working practices or volunteer services.
When the duration of the stay exceeds 90 days, it will be necessary to obtain a specific visa to carry out the non-work activities listed below:
- Carrying out or extending studies in an authorized educational center in Spain, on a full-time basis provided that it leads to obtaining a degree or certificate of study.
- Carrying out research or training activities.
- Participation in a student mobility program, to follow a secondary education and/or baccalaureate program in an officially certified center.
- Non-occupational internships.
- Provision of a volunteer service.

Long term
Long-term visas:
Within the framework of long-stay visas, i.e., for periods of more than 90 days in Spain, there are two types of visas:
1º – Visas for temporary residence. .
Among the modalities contemplated in this section, the following are worth mentioning:
1.- Non-profit temporary residence authorization.
- It is initiated in this Consular Office.
- It requires certain amounts for the support.
- It prevents the realization of labor or professional activities.
- Its term of resolution is three months.
2.- Authorization for temporary residence for family reunification.
Regroupable people are:
- The spouse. the person who maintains with the sponsor a relationship of affectivity provided that the relationship is registered in a public registry or the unregistered relationship constituted prior to the beginning of the sponsor’s residence is accredited.
- Their children, legally represented by the sponsor, under 18 years of age or disabled.
- The ascendants of first degree, when they are dependent and are older than 65 years and the need to authorize their residence is justified.
The procedure is initiated at the Immigration Office with a request from the applicant. In this case, the visa applicant has the period of validity of the visa to enter Spanish territory and once there, within one month, he/she must apply for the Identity Card.
3.- Authorization for temporary residence and employment.
The procedure must be initiated by the employer before the competent body in the province in which the benefit is to be provided.
4.- Authorization for temporary residence and employment for a fixed term
This authorization may be requested by foreigners over 16 years of age who will work as employees in seasonal or seasonal activities.
5.- Temporary residence and self-employment authorization.
- This type of authorization allows the foreigner, over 18 years of age, to stay in Spain on his/her own account, for a period of more than 90 days and less than 5 years and to exercise during this period a lucrative activity on his/her own account.
- This application must be submitted in person, with the official form, to the Consular Office corresponding to the consular demarcation in which the foreigner is resident.
2º- For long-term residence::
A foreigner who has been authorized to reside and work in Spain indefinitely under the same conditions as Spaniards is in a situation of long-term residence. The procedure is initiated at the Immigration Office of the province in which he/she resides.
2.1 Recovery of long-term residence in the case of persons who have lost their long-term residence because they have been outside Spain for more than 12 months and less than five years. The visa fees will be paid once the application is approved.

Other visas
Other visas:
In addition to short-stay and long-stay visas, there are two other types of visas you can apply for and should be aware of:
1º Transit visa..
This visa is valid for transit through the international transit zones of one or more airports of the Member States, without entering the national territory. It allows the stay during stopovers or flight connections.
2º Visa for the Autonomous City of Ceuta.
It only allows entry to the city without the right to stay overnight.

Conditions
Documentation:
Once you make the contracting of this service and your order is formalized, your Campussing assistant will contact you to guide you and ask you for the documents that we will need for the correct execution of the service.
Don’t worry, we will prepare and complete all the documents, forms and applications that need to be submitted to complete the process correctly. In addition, we will take care of requesting and coordinating the necessary appointments with the administration, trying whenever possible, to make an appointment on a day and time that suits you. We take care of everything!!!
Please note:
- If the country for which you are applying for a visa does not require your presence at any time during the process, we will process your visa in its entirety.
- If the country you are applying for requires your presence at the Consulate, then we will coordinate the appointment, whenever possible, so that it fits your schedule. In this case, the service includes that on the day of the appointment, your assistant will accompany you to the Consulate, as long as the in-person processing is done in Spain.
- If it is done in Spain, your Campussing assistant will wait for you at the place of the appointment to assist you in English or Spanish, being the interpretation service included in the price of this service and contract. If you need it, you can request a Campussing assistant in any other language, but this service will have an additional cost.
Contracting and cancellation conditions:
- For the correct execution of the service, with the reservation or contracting, the user, client or buyer agrees to send us within a maximum period of 3 days from the request, all the required documentation.
- The user may cancel the service as long as Campussing has not started working on the file.
The service will be considered to have started from the moment the Campussing assistant formally requests the documentation by email, courier or telephone. - If once Campussing starts working on the service, the user decides to cancel the service, he/she will only be entitled to a refund of 30% of the amount paid.
Shipping
To process your visa we will need to exchange original documents. At the first moment you will have to send us the original documents that we need to process it and later when we have the visa granted, we will deliver it to you together with the rest of the original documents.
Certified shipping costs:
- Shipments outside the country of residence of the person for whom the visa is being processed are NOT included in the price of the service, and must be confirmed later according to the destination for each case.
- In the case of shipments made within the country of residence of the person you are sending the visa, you will pay the cost of sending the documents at the time of the online booking and we will pay the service when we send you the visa and all the original documents.
- In both cases we will coordinate with you the collection of the documents and the shipment of the obtained visa.
Optionals
Transfers: if you would like your Campussing assistant to pick you and your family up on the day of your appointment to take you to the Consulate, we can pick you up at a meeting point in the city center and take you to your appointment at the Consulate. Once the meeting has been arranged we will take you back to the meeting point. This service will need to be quoted separately and arranged at a later date if necessary. Alternatively, you can meet your Campssuing assistant at the Consulate on the day of the appointment.
Taxes
The price of our service to process your visa does NOT include the taxes that must be paid in each process. The fees vary depending on the type of visa and each country, so we will tell you the cost once we get going. The fees are an expense that must always be paid by the person for whom a visa is required, but if you hire our service, we can take care of the payment at the bank. This service is included and has no additional cost, you will only pay the fees corresponding to your process. But this will be determined once you request the service.
