This permit is valid for researchers who have a firm offer of work for research in Spain or for universities, companies and R+D+i centers whose work center is in Spanish territory and want to incorporate a non-EU researcher to their work teams or laboratories.
It is important to highlight that, within the framework of this residence and work permit for research, we can apply jointly or successively for the residence permit for companions of the holder, that is to say, we can apply for the permit for spouses and children at the same time of applying for it for the researcher or at a later time. If the researcher is accompanied by a dependent ascendant, i.e. his or her father or mother, we can also process the residence and work permit for them since they can be authorized through this permit.
